University Board sTRUCTURE
University Board
The University Board is the university's highest decision-making body.
Rektor
The Vice-Chancellor decides the mandate and composition of two different preparatory committees at the university. The Preparatory Committee for Education/Kommittén för forskarutbildning (KFU) prepares decisions on matters affecting all of the university’s educational programmes. The Preparatory Committee for Research and Doctoral Education/Beredningen för forskning och forskarutbildning (BFF) instead handles matters relating to research and doctoral education at the university.
Beredningen för forskning och forskarutbildning (BFF)
The committee’s tasks include acting as a reference group for the research evaluation External Research Assessment, ERA 26, assisting in the work to develop a framework for quality development in research at Malmö University, and developing the university’s research infrastructure.
Kommittén för forskarutbildning (KFU)
The Committee for Doctoral Education specialises in issues concerning doctoral education and quality development. In addition, the committee conducts investigations and carries out projects on assignment from the Preparatory Committee for Research and Doctoral Education and the Vice-Chancellor. The committee may also take its own initiatives to improve doctoral-level education and submit proposals to the Preparatory Committee for Research and Doctoral Education.
